Grandma and Grandad Still come to Stay

Big Bike Ride

Kev's parents brought down the tandem bike and they used our bikes and the three of us went on the tandem for a bike ride along the river, with a picnic half way. 11 miles in total.

Kevin even cooked bacon on his camp stove for bacon and brie rolls
enjoying her pasta at the restaurant on Monday

Outdoor Girl

Maddie is getting use to bike rides and she especially loves it when we stop for a break.

Girls Day out in London

I decided to take Maddie into London for a little bit of shopping and sightseeing, we had lots of fun.
Of course no trip to London for a little girl would be complete without a trip to Hamley's.

Unfortunately because it was so great there were tears when we left

not even the bright lights of Piccadilly Circus could calm her down
a picnic in St James Park just of The Mall

looking unimpressed about Buckingham Palace being in the background

even the guard with the gun outside St James Palace failed to impress

finally Trafalgar Square was all too much, a big day for a little girl

Paddling Pool Hog

"Coming through boys, I need to cool down"

Sleepy Biker

We went for two big bike rides over the weekend and Maddie managed to fall asleep on both of them. Two hours on the back of the bike will do that you - especially when you get told it will only be a short bike ride by someone and then you don't stop for a picnic until you've done 20 miles!!
only kidding Kev, we had lots of fun

riding through the bluebells near Much Hadham

at last a picnic by the river

Peek a Boo

Maddie's favourite game at the moment is peek-a-boo
